QGRW targets U.S. large- and mid-cap growth stocks, but only those that also score highly on “quality” metrics like profitability efficiency.
It tracks an index that starts with the 500 largest U.S. companies, ranks them on an equal blend of growth signals (including earnings growth expectations plus 5-year EBITDA and sales growth) and quality signals (3-year ROE and ROA), then holds the top 100 and weights them by market cap with a 15% cap per stock.
The index refreshes twice a year (June and December) and the ETF uses sampling to closely mirror the index rather than necessarily owning every name in it.
You own a basket of 100 big U.S. “growth” companies that also look financially strong, not just popular. The biggest companies get the biggest weights, but no single stock can be more than 15% of the fund.
