Loading IVW detail
IVW is a passive ETF designed to track the S&P 500 Growth Index, a growth-style slice of the S&P 500 built from companies showing stronger growth signals. It uses a market-cap-weighted approach and typically holds a representative sample (not necessarily every stock) to closely mirror the index before fees.
You own a basket of big U.S. companies that the index labels as “growth” based on faster sales growth, earnings growth, and price momentum. It’s like buying the growth-tilted half of the S&P 500 in one trade.
