PSFF is an actively managed fund-of-funds designed to give U.S. equity exposure with explicit downside-risk controls using options-based “buffer and cap” building blocks. It primarily allocates to Pacer Swan SOS structured outcome ETFs (and can also use Pacer Trendpilot ETFs) to moderate drawdowns, accepting capped upside in exchange for protection over defined one-year outcome periods.
You own a basket of other Pacer ETFs, not a plain stock index fund. Those underlying ETFs use stocks plus option contracts to try to soften market drops, but they also limit how much you can gain when markets rally.
