Loading SCHR detail
SCHR is a low-cost, passive ETF built to track a market-value-weighted index of U.S. Treasury bonds with 3–10 years remaining to maturity. It holds only USD-denominated, fixed-rate, investment-grade Treasurys and refreshes index membership monthly, while the fund may use sampling to closely mirror the index’s risk/return profile.
You own a basket of U.S. government IOUs that mostly come due in the next 3–10 years. If interest rates move up or down, the price of those IOUs moves too, and you collect the bond interest along the way.
