REVS is a rules-based US large-cap value ETF that starts with the Russell 1000 Value universe, then removes stocks that fail its sector-by-sector quality, value, and momentum checks. It keeps sector weights aligned to the Russell 1000 Value and then market-cap weights the remaining names, aiming to outperform through stock selection (mainly by exclusion) rather than sector tilts.
You own a basket of big US “value” companies (think cheaper-priced, established businesses), similar to a standard Russell 1000 Value fund. The twist is it filters out stocks that don’t look strong on quality, cheapness, and recent trend, then weights what’s left by company size.
