CHRI is a passive US large-cap equity ETF built to closely mirror the S&P 500, but with a Christian values screen applied to remove companies tied to specific restricted business activities.
It tracks the S&P 500 Christian Values Screened Index and uses modified market-cap weighting designed to keep sector exposures similar to the standard S&P 500.
The index is reconstituted and rebalanced quarterly, so exclusions and holdings can change over time.
You own shares of many big U.S. companies, like a typical S&P 500-style fund. The difference is CHRI removes companies that don’t pass a faith-based screen, then rebuilds the portfolio to keep the overall sector mix close to the S&P 500.
