IYH is a passive U.S. healthcare sector ETF built to track the Russell 1000 Health Care RIC 22.5/45 Capped Index. It owns large- and mid-cap healthcare stocks and weights them by float-adjusted market cap (bigger companies get bigger weights), with quarterly rebalances and caps designed to limit single-stock and mega-holder concentration.
You’re buying a big basket of U.S. healthcare companies—think pharma, biotech, medical equipment, and healthcare services. The biggest firms take up the most space in the basket, but the index puts guardrails in place so one name doesn’t completely dominate.
