USFR is a passive Treasury ETF built to track an index of U.S. Treasury floating-rate notes (FRNs), weighted by market value. It primarily holds 2-year Treasury FRNs and uses representative sampling to closely match the Bloomberg U.S. Treasury Floating Rate Bond Index, with monthly rebalancing.
You own a basket of U.S. government floating-rate bonds that mature in about two years. Their interest rate resets frequently based on recent 90-day T-bill auction rates, so the payout can move up or down as short-term rates change.
