SLVP is a passive equity ETF that targets roughly 25 publicly traded companies around the world that are primarily tied to silver mining or silver exploration.
It tracks an MSCI index built from the global ACWI universe (and can dip into micro-caps to fill out the roster), then uses market-cap weighting with caps to keep any single name from dominating.
Expect a concentrated, miner-heavy portfolio with meaningful non-U.S. exposure by design.
You’re buying shares of a small lineup of silver-mining companies, not physical silver bars. Some of those companies also mine gold and other precious metals, so your results won’t be “silver-only.”
