Loading QDVO detail
QDVO is an actively managed large-cap U.S. growth equity fund that aims to pair growth exposure with consistent cash flow. It builds a concentrated portfolio (roughly 20–40 stocks) drawn from the Russell 1000 Growth universe, then sells one-month covered call options to collect option premiums. The trade-off is intentional: option income can smooth returns, but it typically caps some upside when markets rally hard.
You own a hand-picked basket of big U.S. growth stocks, plus a small cash/short-term debt sleeve for day-to-day flexibility. The fund also “rents out” some upside by selling call options each month to bring in extra income.
