IYK is a passive U.S. consumer staples sector ETF designed to track the Russell 1000 Consumer Staples RIC 22.
5/45 Capped Index. It uses market-cap weighting but applies issuer caps at quarterly rebalances to limit concentration in the biggest staples names.
The result is a large-/mid-cap staples portfolio that aims to reflect the sector while preventing any single stock from dominating the fund.
