PDEC is an actively managed “structured outcome” ETF designed to shape your S&P 500 experience over a one-year window that starts each December. It uses exchange-traded FLEX options (customizable options contracts) tied to the S&P 500 Price Index to target a loss buffer (about the first 15% down) in exchange for a capped upside, with levels resetting annually.
You don’t own the S&P 500 stocks directly—you own a package of S&P 500-linked options plus cash-like collateral. That options package is built to soften a chunk of losses, but it also limits how much you can make if the market rises.
