VFVA is an actively managed U.S. equity ETF built to tilt toward “value” stocks—companies trading at lower prices relative to fundamentals like earnings and book value.
It uses a quantitative, rules-driven model to select and weight holdings across large-, mid-, and small-cap U.S. stocks while applying diversification and liquidity screens.
The goal is to beat the broad U.S. market over time by systematically owning cheaper-looking stocks.
You own a big basket of U.S. companies picked because their stock prices look low compared to what the businesses earn or own. It’s diversified across many sectors and company sizes, not just one corner of the market.
