PTLC is a rules-based large-cap US equity ETF that tracks the Pacer Trendpilot US Large Cap Index.
It shifts exposure between a US large-cap stock basket and 3-month US Treasury bills based on a momentum signal tied to a 200-day moving average.
The goal is to participate in equity upside while using a mechanical “risk-off” switch to try to reduce drawdowns during weaker trends.
You own either big US stocks, short-term US Treasury bills, or a 50/50 mix—depending on what the trend rule says. The fund follows a preset playbook, not a manager’s opinions.
