Loading IVE detail
IVE is a passive ETF built to mirror the S&P 500 Value Index, which pulls the most “value-like” stocks from the S&P 500 using fundamental value signals. It uses market-cap weighting and a representative-sampling approach, meaning it may not hold every name in the index but aims to match the index’s overall behavior before fees.
You own a basket of big U.S. companies that look cheap compared to their fundamentals (the index’s definition of “value”). It’s like buying the “value” half of the S&P 500 in one trade, not picking individual stocks.
