GOEX is a passive equity ETF built to track a Solactive index of global gold explorers and developers, weighted by market cap.
It targets companies earlier in the gold mining pipeline (exploration and development) and generally uses a replication approach to stay tightly aligned with the index (the manager expects long-run correlation above 95%).
The index applies concentration controls and specific caps tied to production size to avoid any single group of larger producers dominating the portfolio.
