FRDU is a single-stock, 2x daily leveraged ETF designed to deliver twice the *daily* price move of Ford Motor Company (F).
It primarily uses derivatives (especially swap agreements, plus options) and then rebalances every day to reset leverage back to 200% of net assets.
Because the target is daily, results over longer holding periods can diverge sharply from “2x Ford.
