FLLA is a passive equity ETF built to mirror the FTSE Latin America RIC Capped Index—large- and mid-cap companies tied to Latin America, weighted mostly by market value (bigger companies get bigger weights). It uses issuer caps that are reset quarterly to limit single-stock and “top-heavy” concentration, while the underlying roster is reviewed on a semi-annual schedule.
You’re buying a basket of publicly traded Latin American companies, mostly the bigger ones. The ETF automatically spreads your money across many stocks and periodically rebalances so no single company dominates too much.
