FKU is a rules-based UK equity ETF that tries to beat the broad United Kingdom stock market using Nasdaq’s AlphaDEX stock-selection model rather than simple market-cap weighting.
It starts with the Nasdaq United Kingdom Index, scores companies on momentum plus fundamentals (growth and value signals), then builds a 75-stock portfolio with a tiered, equal-weight approach and sector limits to control concentration.
The index is reconstituted and rebalanced twice per year, and the fund aims to track that index before fees.
You’re buying a basket of 75 UK companies picked by a formula that favors stocks with stronger recent performance and stronger fundamental ratios. Instead of letting the biggest companies dominate, it spreads weight more evenly, with extra weight going to the highest-scoring names.
