Loading EMLP detail
EMLP is an actively managed equity fund targeting North American energy infrastructure, with a heavy emphasis on MLP-related exposure but not limited to pure MLPs. To stay within 1940 Act fund rules and tax diversification limits, it blends traditional MLPs with related pipeline companies, utilities, Canadian infrastructure firms, and MLP affiliates using specialty share structures.
You own a basket of companies that run the “plumbing and transport” of energy—pipelines, storage, and power/utility infrastructure. Some holdings are MLPs and some are regular corporations, so it’s a mixed energy-infrastructure portfolio rather than a single-type bet.
