Loading DFAC detail
DFAC is an actively managed U.S. equity ETF built to hold a broad mix of American companies while intentionally leaning more toward smaller companies, cheaper “value” stocks, and more profitable firms than the overall market. It uses a proprietary, research-driven process (not an index) and pairs that with tax-management trading designed to reduce and delay taxable capital gains where possible.
You own a big basket of U.S. stocks across large, mid, and small companies. The manager purposely adds extra weight to smaller, more value-like, and higher-profit companies instead of just mirroring the market.
